Some exciting news!
Mark Olsen, the Family Tree Maker Ambassador is coming to Seattle.
FTM 2024 will soon be released. Mark will show the new features of FTM 2024 and teach all things related to Family Tree Maker and their partner products.
This is a free in-person or online meeting. Registration is required for in-person and online attendance.
Date of the meeting: Thursday, April 25, 2024
Mark will present twice
11:00am – 2:00 pm PT
And again 5:30pm – 8:30pm PT

CONGRATULATIONS WINONA LAIRD
Please congratulate our very own Winona Laird for receiving the "Outstanding Volunteer Award" from Washington State Genealogical Society. Winona served as SKCGS President and Vice President and on numerous committees, including chair of the last two seminar committees, head of the Education Committee and the Five-year Planning Committee. She leads the virtual Family Tree Maker special interest group and the in-person research workshop at the Kent FamilySearch Center. Currently, she is teaching the Beginning Genealogy Classes for SKCGS and the Introduction to Genealogy classes hosted by King County Library System. Congratulations, Winona, on your well-deserved recognition!
